This sweet and spicy hot sauce is great on wings, pizza, and just about anything else you can imagine. This is how we like it, but feel free to adjust the ratio of sweet to spicy according to your heat tolerance.
- 1 Medium Onion (diced)
- 2 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
- 10 Habanero Peppers (chopped)
- 1 Ripe Mango (peeled and chopped)
- 1 Cup Carrot (chopped)
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons Orange Juice
- 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
Lightly drizzle habanero’s with olive oil and roast in the oven for 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Lightly saute garlic and onions until translucent, then add water, salt, carrots and bring to boil. Once carrots are tender, remove from the heat. In a blender combine the roasted habanero’s, apple cider vinegar, orange juice and mango. Blend until desired texture is reached. Pour into sterilized glass jars and refrigerate for at least 1 week before trying. Enjoy!
